I spent my career at the intersection of big stakes and a lot of moving parts. A $70M phased renovation at Denver International Airport, coordinating tenant airlines, city agencies, design teams, and contractors who all wanted different things. A $4.2M rollout putting 90,000 learning devices into 200+ schools across Colorado's largest district — delivered on time and on budget. Three online degree programs built with a 26-person team, launched with a 100% on-time record.
I hold the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute and a Construction Management certificate from Columbia University. Those matter less than the track record above - but they're part of why I was trusted with it.
At some point I stopped asking why people kept handing me their most complex, highest-stakes work. I started asking a different question instead: what if I brought that same structure to the people who need it most?
Not enterprises with PMO departments and six-figure software budgets. Small business owners. People who are excellent at their craft and exhausted by everything around it.
That question became Cape & Key.
The cape is the work I do behind the scenes. The key is what I hand you: a business that runs.
Our Promise
Operational structure that frees visionaries
The cape is mine. The key is yours. We take full ownership of the back-office architecture so you retain total control of your business direction.
How I Work
I listen before I fix
I understand each constraint before proposing a solution. That sounds obvious until you've been handed a template by someone who never asked how your business runs. I adapt the method to fit you and your work, rather than forcing your work into a rigid process.
